Ran in three races during his freshman year โฆ Finished the Dual at the Rose Bowl with a season-best 8k time of 24:22.68 โฆ Finished 58th in the Pac-12 Championships for the Bruins in his only race unattached on the season.

Earned three varsity letters in cross country and two in track at La Salle HS for coach Fred Riley โฆ Won six CIF individual titles and six league championships โฆ Claimed the 2012 CIF state cross country championship โฆ Named the Pasadena Sunโs All-Area Track and Field Athlete of the Year in 2012 โฆ Was a state finalist in the 1,600 and 3,200 โฆ Placed fourth at the state championship in the 3,200 โฆ Holds the La Salle HS record in the mile.
