Thompson played for the University of Portland for three seasons ... led the Pilots in assists per set (10.69) and service aces (42) in 2018, while ranking third in digs per set (2.15) ... tallied 1,326 assists, which placed her second on Portland's single-season list ... also ranks fourth in program history in assists (3,658), fifth in aps (10.30) and 10th in aces (112) ... never missed a set in her three-year career ... was twice named to the West Coast Conference All-Academic Team ... had 1,174 assists (10.30 per set) as a sophomore and was second in aces (36) and fourth in dps (2.34) ... added 34 aces (second on the team) as a freshman, when she was named to the All-WCC Freshman Team.

Thompson earned four letters at Coronado High School in Henderson, Nev. ... helped lead the Cougars to four league and region championships, and three straight Nevada Division I State Championships (2013-2015) ... was a two-time Division Most Valuable Player, three-time Sunrise South Region First Team and two-time Sunrise South Region MVP ... as a senior in 2015, was the Nevada Gatorade Player of the Year and an Under Armour All-American ... played club with Vegas Encore ... also played with USA Volleyball programs from 2011-2014.

Born Cali Tori Thompson in Las Vegas ... parents are Ronda and Larry Thompson ... has an older brother, Cole ... says one of the reasons she decided to attend UCLA was because it was her first dream school to play volleyball at when she was seven years old ... thing she likes the most about volleyball is the strategy and finesse of each skill that one needs to compete at their highest level ... hobbies include playing sports, exercising outside, oil painting, reduction drawing and reading ...ย biggest athletic thrill of her career was winning the state championship her sophomore year in high school ... favorites include television shows "Gilligan's Island", "Bones" and "The Office", the movie "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" and actor/singer Howard Keel ...ย psychology (pre-med) major with the career objective of becoming an orthopedic surgeon.
