Born Kristen Michelle Phillipp in Oceanside, Calif., on March 22, 1996 ... parents are Thomas and Michelle Phillipp ... has an older brother, Kenny, an older sister, Kimmy and a younger sister, Kari ... chose to attend UCLA because, "how could I turn down the best school in the nation?" ... lists being offered a position on the sand volleyball team at UCLA as the biggest athletic thrill of her career ... hobbies include swimming, scuba diving and going to the beach ... athlete she admires is former UCLA great, Holly McPeak ... majoring in business economics.
