Rowed in the Bruinsโ Second Varsity Eight (2V8+) during her sophomore seasonโฆ stroked the 2V8+ crew in the first regatta of the season against USC and Loyola Marymount (March 23) where her team finished firstโฆ rowed seven seat at the Lake Natoma Invitational (April 6), helping her team get a first-place win in the morning and a second-place finish in the afternoonโฆ stroked the 2V8+ at the Big Ten Invitational (April 19-20), leading the way for her team to a first-place win on day twoโฆ rowed bow seat at the Dexter Lake Invitational (April 27)... the 2V8+ crew finished second place out of six boats, scoring better than Gonzaga, Oregon State, Oklahoma, and LMUโฆ rowed bow seat at the Pac-12 Championships (May 19) in Sacramento, California.
2022-23
Rowed in the Bruinsโ varsity four (V4+) and second varsity eight crews (2V8+) during her freshman campaign โฆ stroked the V4+ crew in the teamโs season-opening dual-meet competition against USC (March 11) โฆ rowed bow seat in the V4+ crew at the two-day Big Ten Invitational in Sarasota, Fla. (April 7-8) โฆ helped guide the Bruinsโ V4+ crew to first-place finishes on back-to-back days in Sarasota, Fla. โฆ rowed bow seat in UCLAโs 2V8+ crew in a dual-meet competition against Loyola Marymount (April 22), as the Bruins swept three races against LMU in Marina del Rey โฆ rowed bow seat in the 2V8+ crew at the Dexter Lake Invitational (April 29) โฆ the Bruinsโ 2V8+ crew finished in second place, out of eight boats, in the morning session and registered a third-place finish in the afternoon session at the Dexter Lake Invitational โฆ rowed bow seat in the Bruinsโ 2V8+ crew at the Pac-12 Championships on Dexter Lake in Lowell, Ore. (May 14).

Attended Campolindo High School for four years โฆ was a three-year varsity rowing letterwinner, competing for the Oakland Strokes โฆ spent one year on the novice team before her final three seasons with the varsity program โฆ as a senior, rowed at the USRowing Youth National Championships (2022), finishing fourth in the Youth 4- (as the stroke) โฆ rowed at the 2022 Southwest Junior Regional Championships, finishing in third place in the Youth 8+ (as the stroke) and third in the Youth 4- (as the stroke) โฆ finished in first place in the Youth 8+ (stroke) at the 2022 Pacific Invite and Husky Open โฆ also finished in first place in the Youth 4+ (stroke) at the 2022 Pacific Invite โฆ raced at the 2021 Head of the Charles and the 2021 San Diego Fall Classic โฆ as a junior, raced at the USRowing Summer National Championships (2021) โ finished in first place in the U19 8+ (stroke), second place in the U23 8+ (stroke) and fifth in the U19 4+ (stroke) โฆ as a sophomore, raced at the 2019 Head of the American and the 2019 Head of the Lagoon โฆ finished in first place in the 3V8+ (six seat) at the Head of the American and was a second-place finisher in the JV8+ (seven seat) at the Head of the Lagoon.

Full name: Danielle Althea DeFrancisci โฆ was born in Oakland, Calif. โฆ is the oldest of Brandon and Shirley DeFrancisciโs three children โฆ had one brother (Drew) and one sister (Caity) โฆ undeclared major.
