Began the season sitting stern in the 1V4+ against USC… Helped the 1V4+ to a fourth-place finish from three seat in the grand finals of the San Diego Crew Classic on March 30… Continued in three seat at the USD Dual on April 6, where the 1V4+ crew claimed first place in the home regatta… Had steady performances in the 1V4+ at the Big Ten Invitational (April 18-19)… Helped the Bruins collect a pair of fourth-place finishes before the crew claimed third in the final round… Remained in three seat for UCLA’s first-place finish at the UCSD Triton Invitational on April 26… Placed third in the Big Ten’s petite finals in the 1V4+.

Attended Rome International School… Rowed for Circolo Canottieri Roma… Is a four-time Italian Champion in 4- and 2-… Has competed nationally in two World Championships and two European Championships.

Born in Rome, Italy… Is the daughter of Elena and Aldo Compagnucci… Has a younger brother, Matteo (13)… Decided to attend UCLA “because of its prestigious academic reputation and the opportunity to compete as a D1 athlete”… Notes her greatest athletic thrill as winning a bronze medal at the European Championships… Reveres Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc as the athlete she most admires… Interests include Formula 1 and reading… Hopes to go into law upon graduation… Political Science major.
