
Women's Golfers 12th After First Round at Stanford

LOS ANGELES -- The ninth-ranked UCLA women's golf team was 12th after 18 holes Friday in the Stanford/Pepsi Women's Invittional at the Stanford Golf Course.
The Bruins posted a first round score of 305 and trail first place Pepperdine, which fired a score of 294. Tulsa and California are tied for second at 297, followed by Arizona at 298 and Stanford, Arizona State and Texas at 299.
UCLA senior Amanda Moltke-Leth is tied for seventh individually after recording a first round score of 73. She trails Jessica Krantz of San Jose State and Jill Gomric of Arizona, who are tied for first at two-under par 70.
