Women's Golf Takes 10th at New Mexico Tournament

ALBUQUERQUE, NM - The UCLA women's golf team, ranked 23rd nationally in the preseason MasterCard poll, finished 10th at the Dick McGuire Invitational over the weekend with a 54-hole score of 937. Fifth ranked USC won the tournament by one shot over eighth ranked TCU. Sixth ranked Tulsa took third.
Individually for the Bruins, sophomore Leilani Bagby tied for 14th at 229, a career best collegiate finish. Junior Alexandra Gasser tied for 17th place, her best finish in two seasons. Junior Amanda Moltke-Leth tied for 41st and sophomore Julie Oh tied for 51st.
The Bruins' next tournament will be at the Bama Fall Preview, hosted by the University of Tulsa at the Tulsa Country Club, Oct. 5-7.
