In singles action, court No. 6 was the first to finish as Rozpedski defeated Ted Burghardt 6-3, 6-0. The action was also swift on court No. 1 where Grinda dropped just one game en route to his 6-1, 6-0 victory over Rodriguez. Zack Fleishman clinched the match with his 6-4, 6-2 win over Rizo in the No. 2 slot. It didn't take much longer for Sands to defeat Sean Cooper 6-2, 6-0 at the No. 5 position. In the No. 4 slot, Kramer defeated Maldanado 6-2, 6-3. The only match to go the distance was on court No. 3 where Cook held on for a 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 win over Tangefjord.
