Women's Golfers Sixth After Two Rounds At ASU Invitational

TEMPE, Ariz. - The UCLA women's golf team is in sixth place after two rounds at the annual PING/ASU Invitational Friday at the Karsten Golf Course in Tempe, AZ. A total of six teams are within 10 shots of the team leaders entering Saturday's second round.
The Bruins fired a team score of 301 Saturday to bring their two-round total to 595, 10 shots behind leaders Arizona and Arizona State. New Mexico is third at 586, followed by USC at 592 and San Jose State at 594. Stanford is seventh at 598.
Arizona's Jenna Daniels shot a one-under par 71 and owns a 36-hole total of 139, five-under par. ASU's Miriam Nagl and USC's Candie Kung are tied for third at 144.
The Bruins' Laura Moffat and Amanda Moltke-Leth are tied for ninth at 147. Moffat posted a one-over par 73 and Moltke-Leth carded a 74. Junior Leilani Bagby posted a 76 and is tied for 30th at 150. Junior Alicia Um is tied for 44th at 153 and freshman Bridget Dwyer is tied for 47th at 154.
Final round action continues tomorrow.
