Men's Golfers Third at Husky Invitational

The UCLA men's golf team is third after two rounds in the Husky Invitational, hosted by the University of Washington at Trophy Lake Golf Course in Casting Pt. Orchard, WA.
The Bruins two-round total of 745 is 12 shots behind first place Pepperdine, but just two shots away from second place Oregon.
Freshman Steve Conway and sophomore J.T. Kohut of UCLA are tied for 15th place at 149, five-over par. Conway posted rounds of 75-74 and Kohut carded rounds of 76-73.
Pepperdine's Randy Creighton is leading the field with a one-under par total of 143 after posting rounds of 70-73. There is a three-way tie for second place at 144 among Stanford's Eric Dahlberg (76-68), Oregon's John Ellis (73-71) and Cal's Peter Tomasulo (72-72).
UCLA senior Ross Fulgentis is tied for 18th at 150 after posting rounds of 74-76. The Bruins Parker McLachlin and sophomore Travis Johnson are tied for 28th at 151. McLachlin had rounds of 75-76 and Johnson rebounded from a first round 80 to shoot a one-under par score of 71 in the afternoon.
