After the first day of competition at the USC Trojan Diving Invitational, two Bruins were finalists in the one-meter springboard. Senior Regan Gosnell led the Bruins, placing third with 487.55 points. Freshman Paige Thompson was seventh with 441.60 points. Senior Heidi Prosser also advanced to the finals, but did not compete due to back complications.

In the preliminaries, Gosnell was second (247.20 points), Prosser was seventh (216.55) and Thompson was eighth (213.75). Freshman Sara Clark was eleventh (204.80 points), senior Jen McNally was 12th (204.60 points) and sophomore Janine Strack was 15th (168.25 points).

The Trojan Invitational will continue today at USC's McDonald Swim Stadium. The competition will conclude Saturday, November 9.
