Los Angeles, CA - At the Trojan Diving Invitational, held at USC's McDonald Swim Stadium, three Bruins competed in the women's one-meter springboard final on Thursday. Redshirt freshman Carly Banks, in her first competition as a Bruin, placed second with a score of 253.25. USC's Nicci Fusaro won the event with a score of 262.75.

Sophomores Paige Thompson and Sara Clark also qualified for the final. Thompson placed sixth with a score of 236.90 and Clark was seventh at 220.30 points. In the prelims, junior Janine Strack was 11th with a score of 203.05. Sophomore Amanda Blong was 12th, scoring 197.10 points.

The Trojan Invitational will continue Friday, November 7, and conclude Saturday, November 8.
