Bruins Tied for 10th after Round One

The UCLA women's golf team is tied for 10th place after the first round of the Fall Preview, hosted by Auburn University at Auburn National GC.

The Bruins posted a score of 303, 15-over par, and are tied with Tulane and Ohio State. Host Auburn leads the field with a two-under par total of 286, followed by Duke at one-under 287 and Arizona at 289.

Individually, junior Charlotte Mayorkas leads UCLA with a one-over par score of 73 and is tied for 18th place. Sophomore Susie Mathews is tied for 24th at 74 and senior Hana Kim is tied for 46th at five-over 77. Senior Bridget Dwyer is tied for 62nd place at 79 and freshman Hannah Jun is tied for 79th place.

Duke's Brittany Lang leads the field after posting a five-under par 67. Two players are tied for second place.

Second round action continues Saturday.
