Bruins Earn Third Straight Trip to NCAA Championships

Bruins Remain in First Place after 36 Holes

The 13-ranked UCLA women's golf team remained in first place after two rounds at the Mason Rudolph Championship, hosted by Vanderbilt University at its Legends Course in Franklin, TN.

On Saturday, the Bruins posted a team score of 295, seven-over par, and stand at even par 576 after 36 holes. Georgia is second at 581, followed by Auburn at 585 and Vanderbilt at 587. Arizona is fifth at 588.

Individually for the Bruins, four players are among the Top 20 entering Sunday's final round. Freshman Hannah Jun is tied for third place at 141, three-under par, after posting a 74 on Saturday. Junior All-American Charlotte Mayorkas is tied for 11th at even par 144. Mayorkas also posted a 74 in the second round. Senior Bridget Dwyer shot a 75 and is in 15th place at 146, two-over par. Sophomore Susie Mathews had the Bruins low round of the day, an even par 72, and is tied for 16th place at three-over par 147. Senior Gina Umeck shot a 77 Saturday and is tied for 29th at five-over par 149.
