Golfers Lead Mason Rudolph Championship by One Stroke

The top-ranked UCLA women's golf team took the first round lead at the Mason Rudolph Championship Friday. Vanderbilt University is hosting the event in Franklin, TN at the Legends Club Ironhorse Course.
The Bruins posted a team score of 289 (+1) and lead Texas by two strokes. Georgia is third at 292 (+4), followed by Arizona at 295 (+7) and LSU 296 (+8).
Individually for the Bruins, All-Americans Hannah Jun, Susie Mathews and Charlotte Mayorkas each posted scores of 71 (-1) and are tied for fourth place. Freshman Amie Cochran is tied for 42nd place after posting a 76 (+4). Freshman Vanessa Brockett was the drop score after posting a score of 85.
Second round action continues on Saturday.
