Poteete Finishes 17th in 50 Free at Short Course National Championships

Junior Anna Poteete led the Bruin swimmers on Thursday on day one of the Short Course National Championships in Atlanta, GA as she won the C final of the 50 freestyle in a time of 22.70. That time was a lifetime-best mark and moves her to No. 4 all-time at UCLA. The time also qualifies for NCAA consideration and is just .08 seconds shy of the auto mark.

Former Bruin Kim Vandenberg was also in action on Thursday as she finished 11th overall and third in the B final in a time of 22.79.
