The third-ranked UCLA men's golf team finished seventh at the U.S. Collegiate Championship Wednesday at The Golf Club of Georgia.

The Bruins posted a final round team score of 882 (+18) and finished 18 shots off the lead. USC won the tournament with an even par score of 864, firing a final round score of 283 (-5). Oklahoma State was second at 867 (+3), followed by top-ranked Alabama at 872 (+8). In fourth place was host Georgia Tech at 875 (+11), followed by Florida State at 877 (+13) and Texas A&M at 881 (+17).

Individually three Bruins finished in the Top 25, led by senior Kevin Chappell, who tied for 10th at 218 (+2). Junior Erik Flores tied for 17th at 219 (+3) after carding a score of 72 (E) in the final round. Lucas Lee tied for 21st at 220 (+4) following a final round 75 (+3). Senior Craig Leslie tied for 41st at 226 (+10) and sophomore Jason Kang tied for 47th at 229 (+13). In the final round, Leslie posted a 73 (+1) and Kang added a 75 (+3).

The Bruins will travel to South Carolina for a dual match against Coastal Carolina at TPC Myrtle Beach on Fri., Mar. 28.
