LOS ANGELES - Senior Anjelica Selden tossed a two-hit, 10-strikeout gem on Sunday, and the second-seeded Bruins received home runs from juniors Amanda Kamekona and Jennifer Schroeder, as UCLA earned its 23rd berth to the Women's College World Series with a 6-0 victory over #15 Georgia in Super Regional play at Easton Stadium.

The Bruins improve to 50-7 with the victory, while the Bulldogs conclude their season at 46-24. UCLA will take on #7 Arizona on Thursday at 6 p.m. PT on ESPN.

Selden moved to 28-3 on the season, recording her second straight double-figure strikeout game while posting her 25th complete game and seventh shutout of the year. The senior finished the Super Regional with 21 strikeouts in 14 innings, allowing just six hits, one run and no walks.

The Bruins recorded 10 hits, including two each from senior Ashley Herrera and freshman GiOnna DiSalvatore. Five different players drove in runs for UCLA.

After three scoreless innings, the Bruins, playing as the visiting team, got on the board in the top of the fourth. It marked the 43rd time this season UCLA has scored first, as the Bruins remained undefeated when doing so. Senior Krista Colburn led off with a single up the middle and was moved to second on a sacrifice by Kamekona. Georgia starter Sarah McCloud then walked sophomore Megan Langenfeld intentionally and DiSalvatore made the Bulldogs pay, singling through the left side to score Colburn and put the Bruins up 1-0.

The Bruins added another run in the fifth. Herrera and freshman Katie Schroeder had consecutive singles to start the inning and a walk to Colburn loaded the bases. One out later, Langenfeld sent a fly ball to left, which was dropped by Megan Wiggins for an error, as Herrera came in to score. Langenfeld was credited with a sacrifice fly and an RBI on the play to increase the lead to 2-0.

UCLA kept the string of one-run innings going in the next frame to make it 3-0, as Jennifer Schroeder lined the first pitch she saw off the left-field scoreboard with one out in the sixth for her third homer of the year.

The Bruins brought home three more in the seventh. Colburn reached on a throwing error by Alissa Goler at third and Kamekona launched a 1-0 offering to center field for her team-leading 14th homer of the season to make it a 5-0 game. One out later, DiSalvatore doubled to left and freshman Samantha Camuso walked to put a pair aboard. Freshman Monica Harrison followed with a double off the center-field wall, bringing in DiSalvatore to raise the advantage to 6-0.

Selden was in cruise control in the circle, retiring 13 straight batters at one point following a second-inning single to Melissa Wood. She set down the side in order in the second, third, fourth and fifth innings, striking out three batters in both the third and the seventh.

McCloud tossed the first four innings and allowed one run, three hits and three walks with two strikeouts. Christie Hamilton pitched 2 1/3 innings, allowing seven hits, five runs (four earned) and two walks with two strikeouts. Kate Gaskill retired the final two batters, striking out one.
