OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Senior Anjelica Selden struck out nine for the third time in the 2008 Women's College World Series, but the second-seeded UCLA Bruins fell to top-seeded Florida 2-0 on Saturday at Hall of Fame Stadium.

The Bruins finish their season with a record of 51-9, while the Gators improve to 69-4 and will face Texas A&M on Sunday.

Selden gave up three hits, two runs (one earned) and two walks in six innings. Junior Amanda Kamekona went 3-for-3 at the plate, while senior Ashley Herrera and freshman Katie Schroeder also had hits. The Bruins had at least one runner reach base in every inning but the second and seventh.

The Gators netted an early run in the bottom of the first. Kim Waleszonia walked, stole second, and one out later, scored on an error to put Florida ahead 1-0.

In the sixth, Florida rallied with two outs to go up 2-0. Ali Gardiner singled and was pinch-run for by Le-Net Franklin, who stole second. Francesca Enea then singled to left to bring in Franklin and put the Gators up by a pair.

Stacey Nelson went the distance for Florida, allowing five hits and one walk with five strikeouts.
