The Bruin swimmers finished third at the Toshiba Classic in Long Beach as Brittany Beauchan, Laurence Delisle and Sam Vanden Berge highlighted the team with strong swims in their respective events.

Stanford won the team title with 1809.5 points, while California was second with 1137. UCLA tallied 725 points for third-place overall.

Junior Brittany Beauchan followed up her runner-up finish in the 100 breast on Friday with a third-place showing in the 200 breast as she swam 2:14.17. Vanden Berge was eighth in the 1650 free, swimming 16:53.86. Delisle was seventh in the 200 back in a time of 2:01.00.

Also in the 200 back, the Bruins swept 10th through 14th-place as senior Isabell Fischer was 10th (2:02.16), freshman Andrea Reigel was 11th (2:02.19), sophomore Annie Stefanec finished 12th (2:02.70), junior Lauren Hall was 13th (2:03.37) and freshman Emily Andelson finished 14th (2:03.37).

Sophomore Bianca Casciari led the team in the 200 fly as she placed seventh in a time of 2:02.37. Teammate Yasi Jahanshahi finished just behind Casciari in eighth with a time of 2:03.19.

The 800 free relay team of junior Alex Sullivan, Delisle, Andelson and Hall finished seventh in a time of 3:28.87.
