The UCLA swimming and diving team fell to No. 4 Stanford 169-126 in Pac-10 dual meet action on Friday afternoon at the Spieker Aquatics Center. Junior Brittany Beauchan, sophomore Bianca Casciari and freshman Laurence Delisle led the team with event wins during the meet.

Beauchan won the 100 breast in a time of 1:02.09 (NCAA B) and also placed second in the 200 breast (2:15.63, NCAA B). Casciari won the 200 fly in a time of 2:00.74 and was second in the 100 fly (56.07). In the 200 back, Delisle touched first in a time of 2:00.05 and was also second in the 100 back (56.48) and 200 IM (season-best, 2:03.18).

Junior Karina Silva led the divers with a second-place finish on three-meter (275.03) and third-place showing on one-meter (244.80).

In all, the Bruins tallied 19 season-best marks during the meet.

The Bruins return to Spieker Aquatics Center on Saturday when they host No. 5 California at noon. The Bears fell to USC on Friday afternoon.
