The No. 1 ranked UCLA women's golf team built an 18-shot lead entering the final round at the Rainbow Wahine Inivtational at Kapolei Golf Course on O'ahu.

The Bruins posted a 10-under par round (278) in the afternoon session for a 36-hole total of 566 (-10). Washington and Florida International were tied for second place at 584 (+8), followed by Stanford at 586 (+10) and fifth-place San Jose State at 601 (+25).

Individually, junior Lee Lopez held the 36-hole lead at five-under par 139 following rounds of 68-71. Senior Brianna Do was tied for third at 142 (-2) after posting scores of 75-67. Junior Tiffany Lua carded scores of 73-70 and was tied for fifth at 143 (-1). Senior Stephanie Kono was tied for seventh at even par 144 following two rounds of 72 (E). Finally, sophomore Ani Gulugian was tied for 11th at 146 (+2) after posting scores of 76-70. Freshman Kyle Roig, competing as an individual, was tied for 12th at 147 (+3) after posting rounds of 74-73.
