Trojan Invite Results Get Acrobat Reader

Freshman Emma Ivory-Ganja highlighted the Bruin divers on day one of the Trojan Invite as the Olympic Trials qualifier was the top UCLA finisher on both 1M and tower.

Ivory-Ganja posted the fifth-best score during the prelim rounds of 1M (243.35) and then followed that up with a score of 252.00 in the final to move up to fourth-place. On tower, Ivory-Ganja was sixth overall with a score of 214.55.

Also on one-meter, junior Maggy Boyd finished 11th in the final with a score of 219.05. She was also 11th after the prelim round (220.95).

Laura Winn, who graduated in 2011, but is training in preparation for the 2012 Olympic Trials, finished fifth on tower with a score of 214.55.

Competition concludes on Saturday with three-meter diving.
