LOS ANGELES - Playing its final non-conference match of the season on Wednesday, the ninth-ranked UCLA men's tennis team downed Cal Poly, 7-0 at the Los Angeles Tennis Center. The Bruins, who round out the regular season against No. 3 USC this Friday, improve to 16-5 on the year. With the loss, the Mustangs fall to 14-4 overall.

After claiming the doubles point, UCLA won all six of Wednesday's singles matches in straight sets. The only showdown that featured ranked singles opponents came at court No. 1, where UCLA's 34th-ranked Daniel Kosakowski was a 6-3, 6-3 winner over 104th-ranked Andre Dome. With the win, Kosakowski joins fellow freshman Clay Thompson in the 20-win club, as he improves to 20-11 on the year.

Three Bruin players extended their winning streaks to five in a row on Wednesday, as Thompson, Holden Seguso and Adrien Puget all picked up wins. Seguso turned in the most dominating performance of the day, losing just three games en route to a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Sebastian Bell at court No. 6.

Friday's UCLA-USC match begins at 3:00 p.m. and will take place at the Los Angeles Tennis Center. Admission is free.
