
Play Suspended with Golfers in Fourth Place

The fourth-ranked UCLA men's golf team was in fourth place at the Pac-12 Preview, hosted by Oregon and Oregon State at Pumpkin Ridge's Witch Hollow Course in North Plains, OR.
Play was suspended in the second round because of darkness.
Top-ranked Cal held the lead at 18-under par, followed by Washington at 16-under. USC was third at 15-under, followed by the Bruins at four-under and Oregon State at two-under. Both UCLA and Oregon State were seven-under par for the second round prior to the suspension of play.
Individually for the Bruins, junior Anton Arboleda was three-under par in the second round and two-under for the tournament, tied for 16th place. Sophomores Matt Pinizzotto and Manav Shah were tied for 22nd place at even par. Shah posted a 69 (-3) in the first round. Freshman Lorens Chan was tied for 31st at two-over par and sophomore Jay Hwang was tied for 40th at plus five.
In other news, results were not immediately available for Cal Poly Firestone Invitational being played at Monarch Beach in Nipomo, CA.
