Freshman Emma Ivory-Ganja led the Bruins divers on day one of the NCAA Zone E Championships in Colorado Springs, CO as she finished ninth on one-meter springboard.

Ivory-Ganja advanced to the finals after posting the eighth-highest score in the preliminary round, 264.75, and then finished ninth with a total score of 521.95.

Sophomores Haley McNamara, Michelle Vale and Paulina Guzman, along with junior Maggy Boyd were also in action on Thursday. McNamara finished 22nd with a score of 246.00, Vale placed 26th with a score of 244.10, Guzman was 29th (243.00) and Boyd finished 36th (224.30).

Competition continues on Friday with the three-meter springboard.
