What was your most memorable moment as a Bruin?
My most memorable moment as a Bruin was winning the 1999 National Championship. After everything we went through as a team and also as individuals made it so exciting and rewarding.

How will you approach playing the College World Series as the defending national champions?
I belive that one of the hardest things to do is defend a National title, but what we do have is the experience and savvy to know what to do to get it done. I am going to approach this CWS with confidence and play every game one pitch at a time both on offense and defense.

Do you have any pre-game rituals or superstitions?
I always listen to music before a game and at home games I always eat breakfast at Headlines in Westwood with a few of my teammates.

If you could play any other sport at UCLA what would it be and why
I would love to play basketball at UCLA. I played in high school and really miss it. I love the fast pace of the game.

What is your favorite food?
Pizza.

Favorite movie?
Pretty Woman.

TV show you can't miss
NYPD Blue and Friends.

What type of music do you listen to?
Reggae, Rap, Hip-Hop, R&B, Country (a little bit of everything).

What do you like to do when you're not playing softball?
I love to do water sports. I go to the lake and wakeboard and jet ski.

Who is the person you most admire and why?
Stacy Silva, my best friend growing up. Her 17-year old brother was killed in a car accident and I've never met anyone as strong as her.

Favorite sport to watch?
Baseball

1995 Olympic Festival in Denver, Colorado

One word that best describes you
Resilient.

As a senior, what kind of advice would you give an incoming freshman?
To not get caught up on your own personal successes and failures. You have so much to learn as a freshman an dthe quicker you become mentally tough and disciplined, your road will be much more fun and a lot easier.

What do you see yourself doing in the future?
Coaching at the Division I level.

What will you miss the most about UCLA Athletics
Being with my friends at the field every day
