UCLA Women Finish Round 1 at Pac-12 Championship

The no. 7 ranked UCLA Women's Golf Team finished the first round today at the Pac-12 Championship, landing themselves in second atop the team leaderboard after 18 holes.

The Bruins shot 290 (+2) as a team, finishing behind only top-ranked USC after the Trojans carded a scorching-hot 280 (-8). Behind the LA area schools was the University of Washington, as the #11 Huskies shot 293 (+5) to take 3rd. #12 Arizona State finished 4th, with 295 (+7), and #15 Stanford shot 298 (+10) to finish 5th.

Leading the charge for UCLA was Erynne Lee, as the sophomore birdied her last two holes to finish at 71(-1) on the day and tie for third atop the individual leaderboard. Erynne was followed by Tiffany Lua, Louise Ridderstrom, and Lee Lopez, as all three Bruins all carded a 73(+1) and finished in an 8-way tie for 10th. Ani Gulugian finished just behind, scoring a 74(+2) to end her day in 18th.
