
Women?s Golf Team Takes First Round Lead at Stanford

The Bruins posted a first-round team score of 279 (-5) and led host Stanford and Northwestern (282, -2) by three shots. USC and Kentucky were fourth at even par 284.
Individually for the Bruins, sophomore Bronte Law held the lead after firing a six-under par score of 65. Her card featured eight birdies and two bogeys. She led Stanford's Mariah Stackhouse by two shots. Sophomore Alison Lee and freshman Erin Choi each posted scores of 71 (E) and were tied for 17th place. Tied for 28th was senior Erynne Lee, who carded a 72 (+1). Freshman Lydia Choi had the drop score of 75 (+4) and was tied for 64th.
Playing as an individual, junior Louise Ridderstrom posted a score of 71 (E) and was tied for 17th.
