Golfers Maintain First Place Lead at The Farms

Ridderstrom and Law were three-under par as a pair and the Bruins posted a two-under par 286 team score in the second round to keep a four-shot lead prior to Wednesday's third round. The Bruins were atop the leader board at 571 (-5), followed by Stanford at 575 (-1). Arizona State and USC were tied for third place at 579 (+3) and host San Diego State was fifth at 584 (+8). Top-ranked USC posted the low round of the day, a seven-under par score of 281 to move up two spots and gain five strokes on the Bruins.
UCLA freshman Alison Lee was in fourth place at 141 (-3) following a 73 (+1) in the second round. Ridderstrom moved up four spots from yesterday into seventh place at 143 (-1) with a 70 (-2) on Tuesday. Law was tied for 17th place with teammate Erynne Lee at 146 (+2) after posting a 71 (-1). Lee signed for a 77 (+5) and her score was dropped for the team scoring. Senior Ani Gulugian was in 20th place at 147 (+3) following a round of 72 (E).
San Diego State's Emma Henrikson continued to lead the field. She was at five-under par 137 through 36 holes following a second round 69 (-3).
