
Golfers Tied for 10th after First Round at ANNIKA Intercollegiate

The Bruins posted an uncharacteristic team score of seven-over par 295 and trailed the leaders by 15 shots. Arizona led the 12-team field with a score of 280 (-8), followed by second-place South Carolina at 282 (-6). Northwestern and Stanford were tied for third place at 286 (-2), and Oklahoma State and USC were tied for fifth at one-under par 287. The Bruins were tied with Pepperdine.
Individually, UCLA's two freshmen posted the team's top scores. Rookies Erin Choi and Lydia Choi combined for a two-under par total. Erin Choi was tied for fifth place at two-under par 70, and Lydia Choi was tied for 20th at even par 72. Sophomore Bronte Law posted a 75 (+3) and was tied for 40th place. Junior Louise Ridderstrom carded a 78 (+6) and was tied for 53rd, and senior Erynne Lee was tied for 56th after signing for a score of 79 (+7).
Arizona's Wanasa Zhou was the first round leader, following her round of 68 (-4).
