LOS ANGELES - Sophomore Reily Buechler did not commit a hitting error, tying for the match high with 16 kills on 31 attempts for a .516 hitting percentage to go with seven digs, as the 12th-ranked Bruins won their fourth straight match with a sweep of #14 Arizona on Friday at Pauley Pavilion. Set scores were 25-16, 25-18, 25-22.

The Bruins improve to 14-3 overall and 5-2 in Pac-12 play, while the Wildcats fall to 13-6 and 3-4 in league.

Junior Jordan Anderson equaled Buechler in kills with 16. Junior Jennie Frager added five kills, junior Claire Felix recorded four and no errors in eight attempts (.500) with four blocks and redshirt junior Haley Lawless posted four kills. Redshirt sophomore Ryann Chandler had 39 assists and eight digs and set the Bruins to a season-best .373 hitting percentage. Junior Taylor Formico had 14 digs, senior Karly Drolson posted six and senior Rachel Inouye added five.

The Bruins never trailed in the opening set, with the only tie occurring two points into the match. At 5-3, a 5-1 UCLA run put the home team up 10-4. Buechler had two kills and an ace, Lawless added a kill and Inouye served an ace. The Wildcats trimmed their deficit to four at 13-9, but three in a row on a UA attack error and back-to-back Buechler kills gave the Bruins a seven-point edge.

Arizona could get no closer than four for the rest of the set. At 19-15, the Bruins posted six of the last seven to take the opener 25-16. A Buechler kill and two Arizona errors made it 22-15, and after a sideout, back-to-back Anderson kills and a Chandler/Frager roof finished up the nine-point victory. Buechler had seven of the Bruins' 15 kills with no errors in 13 attempts (.538), while Anderson added four kills and zero miscues in eight swings (.500). Formico had four digs and the Bruins, who had three aces, hit .438 (15-1-32).

Arizona had its first lead of the match at 1-0 in the second, but three in a row by UCLA on Lawless and Buechler kills and a Wildcat attack error made it 3-1, and the Bruins didn't trail for the rest of the set. At 7-4, four in a row for the Bruins on two Arizona errors, a Felix kill and a Chandler/Felix roof extended the lead to a set-best seven.

The Wildcats got to within three, but couldn't get closer. Four in a row for the home team on two Anderson kills, one by Chandler and an attack error made it 21-14. At 23-18, kills by Anderson and Frager wrapped up the 25-18 victory. Buechler was 5-for-9 (.556) with no errors, while Anderson added four kills. Formico had four more digs, as the Bruins out-hit the Wildcats .361 to .176.

Arizona took an early 3-1 lead in the third, but the Bruins responded with a 6-2 run to go up 7-5. Buechler had two kills during the run, Anderson added one, Frager notched a solo block and Arizona committed two errors. After a sideout, the Bruins went on another long run, this time 7-1 to go up by a set-best seven at 14-7. Anderson had three kills, Chandler and Felix teamed up for a block and Arizona made three errors.

With UCLA still up by six at 22-16, Arizona came back with five in a row to get to within one at 22-21. However, back-to-back Anderson kills gave the Bruins three match points, and on the second try, a Frager kill closed out the 25-22 win. Anderson paced the Bruins with eight kills, while Buechler went with a 4-0-9 hitting line, adding five digs. Formico posted six digs, as UCLA out-hit Arizona .333 to .184.

The Bruins look to make it five in a row on Sunday against #10 Arizona State at 1:30 p.m. at the John Wooden Center. The match will air live on Pac-12 Los Angeles and will also feature live audio and live stats on UCLABruins.com.
