ALPHARETTA, Ga. - The Bruins finished the U.S. Collegiate Championship in 14th place with a 54-hole score of 888 (+24) at the Golf Club of Georgia Lakeside Course.
Senior Jonathan Garrick was the top Bruin finisher for the tournament, placing in a tie for 25th (+2, 218). Freshman Patrick Murphy netted UCLA's only under-par round during the final day with a 2-under 70 to finish in a tie for 36th at +5 (221).
Senior Jake Knapp and freshman Cole Madey each tied for 60th (+10, 226), while sophomore Brandon Mai tied for 87th (+18, 234).
The Bruins host the Gifford Collegiate at Carlsbad's La Costa Golf Course (Nov. 2-4).
