LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- UCLA diving wrapped up the Trojan Diving Invitational on Sunday with a strong showing in the Platform event.  Annika Lenz and Montana Monahan both recorded top-five finishes while posting NCAA Zones-qualifying scores.

Lenz notched top-five finishes in each event at the Invitational this weekend.  On the springboard, the junior placed second in the 1-Meter and fourth in the 3-Meter.  In Platform prelims, Lenz recorded a five-dive score of 252.70.  She went on to finish second with final score of 503.45.

Monahan finished fifth in the Platform event with a 461.35.  Bruin freshman Kat Friese recorded her second top-10 finish of the weekend, placing 10th with a five-dive score of 406.90.

The Bruin diving squad has two weeks off before heading to Minnesota to compete Dec. 4-5. Meanwhile, UCLA swimming is back in action next weekend at the A-3 Invitational.  The three-day event will be held in Monterey Park, Calif., from Nov. 19-21.
