Bruins Seeded 14th, Hosting NCAA's

LOS ANGELES - The Bruins earned a #14 national seed for the NCAA Tournament and will host the first and second rounds next weekend at the John Wooden Center. UCLA will face Lipscomb at 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4, with Santa Clara and Michigan squaring off at 5:30 p.m. Friday's winners will play on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. for a right to advance to the Austin Regional (Dec. 11-12).

The Bruins received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament after finishing the regular season with a 23-7 record and a fourth-place showing in the Pac-12 Conference (14-6). Lipscomb earned an automatic berth as winners of the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament, going 23-8 and 13-1 in league play.
Michigan went 19-12 overall and 9-11 (9th) in Big Ten Conference play to earn an at-large bid, as did Santa Clara, which posted a 22-8 record and a 13-5 mark in the West Coast Conference (tied for third).
