OKLAHOMA CITY - Junior Mysha Sataraka posted a pair of hits for the seventh-seeded Bruins, who fell to #3 Michigan 10-4 on Friday at the Women's College World Series at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium.

The Bruins will play an elimination game on Saturday against Auburn or Tennessee at 4 p.m. PT/6 p.m. CT. The game will air live on ESPN.

The Bruins had seven hits from six players. Senior Ally Carda (32-7) struck out one in 5 2/3 innings and gave up nine runs (eight earned), 13 hits and four walks. Freshman Selina Ta'amilo tossed one inning and allowed a run, two hits and one walk, while freshman Johanna Grauer faced two batters, retiring one and walking one.

In the bottom of the first, the Bruins batted around and scored three times, but left the bases loaded. Sophomore Delaney Spaulding led off with a double to right-center and stayed at second after junior Allexis Bennett reached on an infield single to shortstop. A walk to Carda loaded the bases, and one out later, Sataraka singled to left to score Spaulding to make it 1-0.

Another out later, a free pass to freshman Maddy Jelenicki plated Bennett to put the Bruins up 2-0, while a hit by pitch of senior Gracie Goulder on the next pitch forced in Carda to make it 3-0.

After leaving two in the second, Michigan rallied with four in the third on an RBI single by Kelly Christner, a two-run double by Kelsey Susalla and a sacrifice fly for Lindsay Montemarano to go up by one.

In the bottom of the fourth, a wild play on the bases tied the score. With runners at third and second and one out, Jelenicki grounded one to short for the second out, but Sataraka took off from second with LaRosa remaining at third. The Wolverines attempted to get LaRosa as she was dancing off third, but Michigan first baseman Tera Blanco threw low. The ball went down the left-field line and LaRosa came home to even things at four.

Michigan re-took the lead in the top of the fifth on another Montemarano sacrifice fly to make it 5-4. The Wolverines had a chance to get some more, but a 4-6-3 double play from Goulder to Spaulding to Jelenicki ended the inning.

The Wolverines extended their lead in the sixth with RBI singles by Christner and Susalla to make it 7-4. Michigan tacked on three more in the seventh on an RBI single by Sierra Lawrence, a Sierra Romero sacrifice fly and a Christner RBI single to make it 10-4.
