
UCLA Advances to NCAA Championships with Second-Place Regional Finish

UCLA sophomore Bronte Law finished second overall with an 11-under 205. Law birdied 15 and eagled 16 to help solidify second place, shooting a three-under 69 in the final round. Freshman Lydia Choi was the Bruins' top performer on the day with a five-under 67. Choi totaled three birdies and eagled hole seven to finish the tournament in fifth place with a six-under 210. Senior Erynne Lee shot a one-under 71 and finished tied for 17th with a total of 215 (-1). Junior Louise Ridderstrom finished tied for 26th with 217 (+1), and freshman Erin Choi tied for 54th with a total of 222 (+6).
Baylor placed first with a three-hole total of 842 (-22) and had the top individual finish with Hayley Davis winning with a 16-under 200, thanks to a tournament-low 65 (-7) today.
Qualifying to the NCAA Championships with UCLA and Baylor are third-place Tennessee (850, -14), fourth-place Texas A&M (854, -10) and fifth-place Washington and Texas Tech (862, -2). The NCAA Championships will take place May 22-27 at Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Fla.
