DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Bronte Law earned LPGA Tour partial status at the third stage of qualifying school last week and announced she will forego the remainder of her senior season and turn pro.
Law tied for 24th, shooting a five-round total of 2-under 358 with rounds of 75-68-73-70-72. The top 20 finishers earned full LPGA status for the 2017 season, with those finishing between 21st and 45th recording partial status.
"We congratulate Bronte on her success at Q-school and thank her for everything she has done as a member of our team," head coach Carrie Forsyth said. "She has helped elevate our program and has widely contributed to much of our success over the past three and a half years. We wish her the best as she pursues the next stage of her career."
Law completes her collegiate career as the winningest golfer in UCLA history. This October, she won the Stanford Intercollegiate for the third time in a row, which marked her seventh victory as a Bruin. In 37 starts and 109 rounds, Law had 20 top 10's and 23 top 20's, recording a scoring average below 72. Law was the 2016 recipient of the ANNIKA Award, given to the nation's top female collegiate golfer, was a three-time WGCA All-American and back-to-back Pac-12 Golfer of the Year (2015 and 2016).
Bruin alum Brianna Do also earned LPGA partial status after tying for 44th (+3, 363). Ani Gulugian (T-55, +4, 364), Stephanie Kono (MC, +3, 291) and Erynne Lee (MC, +3, 291) also competed at stage three of Q-school.
