Garrick Up One Spot at Pac-12s

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - Senior Jonathan Garrick moved up one spot on the leaderboard into a tie for second after a 2-under 69 on Saturday at the Pac-12 Championships at The Country Club. Garrick is at -9 (204) through 54 holes, six shots back of Cal's K.K. Limbhasut.
As a team, the Bruins shot a 5-over 360 and are in sixth place (+18, 1,083).
Garrick had an uneventful opening nine, making a bogey on the 11th and eight pars. His round was jumpstarted on the first with a birdie, as he added additional birdies on #4, #5 and #8 before bogeying his last hole, the ninth. Freshman Cole Madey also remains under par for the tournament and is tied for 15th at 1-under (212). He was 1-over (72) on Saturday, making birdies on the fourth and eighth, a bogey on the 13th and a double on the first.
Sophomore Tyler Collier was under par in his third round, shooting a 1-under 70. He is tied for 37th at 7-over (220). He made five birdies on Saturday (#17, #18, #4, #5, #7) to go with two bogeys and a double. Senior Lorens Chan was 3-over (74) on Saturday and is +13 (226, T-52). He birdied the 14th, 18th, third and eighth to go with two bogeys, a double and a triple.
Freshman Phil Delisi was 4-over (75) and is T-57 (+14, 227). He had four birdies on #14, #16, #18 and #5, adding three bogeys, a double and a triple bogey. Sophomore Brandon Mai shot a non-team scoring 7-over 78 and is T-63 (+16, 229). His lone birdie was on the 18th, as he also had six bogeys and a double.
The Bruins conclude the Pac-12 Championships on Sunday. UCLA goes off the first tee at 8 a.m. MT/7 a.m. PT in the order of Mai, Delisi, Chan, Collier, Madey and Garrick. Live scoring will be available here.
