BRYAN, Texas - Junior Bronte Law was co-medalist at the NCAA Bryan Regional, while the Bruins finished in third place to advance to their 16th-straight NCAA Championships.

UCLA was 9-over (297) on Saturday to finish the 54-hole tournament at +1 (865). Also qualifying for the NCAA Championships were Georgia (-6), Arizona (E), Furman (+9), Miami (+13) and Texas (+15).

Law shared first-place honors with Georgia's Bailey Tardy with a three-day total of 7-under 209. Law, who led the field in par-4 scoring, had a 74 (+2) on Saturday, making 16 pars and a pair of bogeys on the fourth and 11th. It was the junior's third victory of the season (Stanford Intercollegiate and PING/ASU Invitational) and the sixth of her career (tied with Kay Cockerill for the most in school history). Law's win is the sixth for a Bruin in Regional play (Stephanie Kono, 2011; Maria Jose Uribe, 2008 and 2009; Sydnee Michaels, 2007; Hannah Jun, 2004). Additionally, the 209 score tied the course record for 54 holes.

Freshman Lilia Vu was also 2-over (74) in her final round to finish the tournament at 1-under 215. She had three birdies on the second, ninth and 14th to go with one bogey and two doubles. Freshman Bethany Wu was even par (72) on Saturday to tie for 19th at 2-over 218. After making three bogeys on her front nine, Wu birdied the first three holes on the back, adding a bogey on #17 and a birdie on her final hole.

Senior Louise Ridderström shot a 5-over 77 to close her tournament at T-35 (+7, 223). Her lone birdie came on the eighth to go with two bogeys and two doubles. Junior Hadas Libman had a non-team scoring +7 (79) and tied for 85th (+27, 243). She made three birdies on the first, 10th and 11th to go with six bogeys and two doubles.

The NCAA Championships will take place May 20-25 at the Eugene Country Club in Eugene, Ore. The first three days will feature stroke play, with the Top 15 teams and nine individuals advancing to the final round of stroke play. Following play on May 23, the top eight teams for match play will be determined, as will the individual winner. The quarterfinals and the semifinals of match play will take place on May 24, with the championship on May 25.
