UCLA Heads to Oregon for First Pac-12 Road Trip
No. 11 UCLA (7-2-0, 1-0-0) will travel to Oregon this week for its first Pac-12 road trip of the season. The Bruins will first play in Corvallis against Oregon State (5-3-2, 0-1-0) on Thursday at 7pm. On Sunday, UCLA will play in Eugene against Oregon (6-3-1, 0-1-0) at 1pm. The UCLA-Oregon match will be broadcast online at pac-12.com/live/university-oregon.

Bruins Rolling on Four-Game Win Streak
UCLA has won four straight since losing to No. 8 North Carolina on Sept. 9, outscoring its opponents 10-2 during that streak. The Bruins did not have a winning streak longer than two games a year ago.

Fleming Wins Second Pac-12 POW
Freshman midfielder Jessie Fleming earned her second Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week award after scoring both goals in UCLA's 2-0 win over Arizona State in the Pac-12 opener. Fleming's two goals were scored in the first eight minutes of the game and scored less than three minutes apart. She now leads the Pac-12 in goals scored with seven in just six games and has scored a goal in each game in which she played double-digit minutes. The only game in which she was held scoreless was the Long Beach State game, when she played just eight minutes.

In the Rankings
UCLA remained at No. 11 in the NSCAA poll for the third consecutive week and moved up two more spots to No. 8 in the Soccer America poll. The Bruins rose one spot to seventh in the Top Drawer Soccer poll.

Pac-12 Leaders
UCLA leads the Pac-12 in points (66), assists (24), and assists per game (2.67) and ranks second in goals (21) and goals per game (2.33). Jessie Fleming and Darian Jenkins are tied for the Pac-12 lead in points (15) and rank 1-2 in points per game (Fleming - 2.50, Jenkins - 1.67), goals (Fleming - 7, Jenkins - 6), and goals per game (Fleming - 1.17, Jenkins - 0.67). Anika Rodriguez leads the conference in assists (6) and assists per game (0.67). Jenkins leads in game-winning goals with four.

One or the Other
In UCLA's last seven games, and in eight of nine games overall this season, either Darian Jenkins or Jessie Fleming (or both) have scored at least one goal for the Bruins. Fleming had a four-game scoring streak from Aug. 28 to Sept. 11, and Jenkins had a three-game scoring streak from Sept. 11-18. The only game in which either player did not score was the Bruins' 1-0 win at Texas A&M on Aug. 26. Chloe Castaneda was the lone goal-scorer.

Multiple Weapons
Even with Jessie Fleming and Darian Jenkins totaling 13 goals between them, there have been a total of eight Bruin players who have scored this season. Also seeing the back of the net have been two-goal scorer Amber Munerlyn and single-goal scorers Anika Rodriguez, Annie Alvarado, Gabrielle Matulich, Julia Hernandez, Gabbi Miranda and Chloe Castaneda. Rodriguez has been the main provider for the Bruin goals with a Pac-12 high six assists. Jenkins and Zoey Goralski have each contributed three assists.

About the Beavers
Oregon State opened its Pac-12 season last week with a 3-0 loss at California. The Beavers have three players in double digits for points - Helene Haavik (11), Natalie Higgins (10) and Nikki Faris (10). Goalkeeper Bella Geist has a 1.21 goals against average. UCLA leads the all-time series with Oregon State, 17-4. The Beavers won last year's contest in Corvallis, 2-1, with Darian Jenkins scoring the lone UCLA goal. Prior to that loss, UCLA had won four in a row.

About the Ducks
Oregon faces USC on Thursday before taking on the Bruins. The Ducks have lost two in a row, 1-0 to Portland and 3-0 to Stanford. Nine different Oregon players have scored at least one goal, led by Jane Lydiatt and Kyra Fawcett, who each have three. UCLA leads the all-time series with Oregon, 17-2, and has won nine consecutive. The Ducks' last win in the series came in 2006, 2-1 in overtime in Eugene.

Last Time Out
Freshman Jessie Fleming scored two goals in the first eight minutes of the game to lead 11th-ranked UCLA to a 2-0 victory over Arizona State in the Pac-12 opener. Perfect passing by seniors Amber Munerlyn and Darian Jenkins led to Fleming's first goal at 5:13, and Fleming rocketed a 25-yard shot into the upper left corner at 8:09 for her second goal of the game. UCLA goalkeeper Teagan Micah made five saves to earn her fifth shutout of the season.

Bruin Strong
Four Bruins have logged over 700 of 824 minutes of playing time in the team's nine games this season. Goalkeeper Teagan Micah has played in all 824 minutes, while defenders Kaiya McCullough (784), Hailie Mace (781) and Zoey Goralski (772) have each played over 700 minutes.

Fresh Faces
Only four players have started in all nine games this season, and three of them are freshmen - goalkeeper Teagan Micah, defender Kaiya McCullough and midfielder Anika Rodriguez. The fourth is sophomore Hailie Mace. Three other newcomers have earned starts this season - sophomore transfer Julia Hernandez, redshirt freshman Chloe Castaneda and freshmen Jacey Pederson and Sunny Dunphy.

Proctor Returns to Pitch
Sixth-year senior Courtney Proctor made her season debut on Sept. 16, playing five minutes at Pepperdine. She has gradually increased her production to 21 minutes against Long Beach State and 42 minutes against Arizona State. Proctor began her career at UCLA in 2011, redshirted due to a torn ACL in 2012, played 24 games during UCLA's NCAA championship year in 2013 then played just six games in 2014 due to injury. She was granted a redshirt exception after the 2015 season and came back for her sixth season this year.

#LaurenStrong
The Bruins debuted new warmup shirts to support UCLA alumna Lauren Holiday, who was recently diagnosed with an operable brain tumor. UCLA's shirt has the hashtag #LaurenStrong on the front. On the back is her last name with the number 8, which she wore at UCLA.

Crosstown Showdown Moved to StubHub Center
The highly-anticipated Nov. 4 crosstown showdown between UCLA and USC has been moved from McAlister Field on the USC campus to the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. The match will kick off at 7:00 pm and will be televised live on Pac-12 Network. Both UCLA (No. 11 ) and USC (No. 10) are currently ranked in the Top 11. The series between the two teams has averaged over 8,000 fans in the last two years, with an NCAA record 10,128 on hand at the Coliseum in 2014 to see the Bruins defeat the Trojans, 2-0, to capture the Pac-12 title outright.

Seven UCLA Alumnae Participating in NWSL Playoffs
Seven UCLA women's soccer alumnae will be participating in the NWSL Playoffs this weekend, including six starters from the Bruins' 2013 NCAA Championship squad. Defenders Caprice Dydasco and Megan Oyster are with the Washington Spirit, which finished second in the league with a 12-5-3 record. Oyster started in 15 games, and Dydasco made 12 starts with two assists. The Spirit will host the Chicago Red Stars in the first semifinal on Friday, Sept. 30 at 8pm ET. The match will be televised on Fox Sports 1.

The Western New York Flash, which finished fourth in the league with a 9-6-5 record, have five Bruins on their 20-woman roster - Abby Dahlkemper, Sam Mewis, Katelyn Rowland, Taylor Smith and McCall Zerboni. Mewis was the Flash's third-leading goal scorer with four goals despite missing time with the U.S. National Team. Dahlkemper played every minute of every game and scored two goals. Smith played in 18 games and scored two goals. Zerboni had one assist in 12 games played. Goalkeeper Katelyn Rowland started six games and recorded a 1.33 goals against average. The Flash will travel to Shield winners Portland in the second semifinal on Sunday, Oct. 2 at 2pm PT. That match will also be televised on Fox Sports 1.

Looking Ahead
The Bruins will host No. 20 California on Thursday, Oct. 6 and No. 1 Stanford on Sunday, Oct. 9.

Alumni Weekend
UCLA Soccer will host a Fall Alumni Weekend for both men's and women's alumni on Oct. 20-23. The weekend activities include a ticket to the UCLA Football Homecoming game on Oct. 22, halftime recognition at the Oct. 23 games, a men's alumni game, a postgame clinic after the women's game, and a barbeque. Alumni seeking more information can contact assistant coaches Phil Marfuggi or Louise Lieberman.
