ROLLING HILLS ESTATES, Calif. - The Bruins maintained their spot in seventh place following Tuesday's play at the Pac-12 Conference Championships at Rolling Hills Country Club, with junior Cole Madey and freshman Devon Bling each shooting under par in round three.
UCLA shot an even-par 355 as a team and is at even-par (1,065) after 54 holes. The Bruins are tied for seventh with Washington.
Madey continues to be the low Bruin for the Championships and is tied for ninth at 7-under 206 following three rounds. He shot a 1-under 70 on Tuesday, making three birdies on #15, #17 and #2 to go with two bogeys.
Bling posted the low round of the day for UCLA with a 2-under 69, making three birdies on #15, #17 and #6 and one bogey. He is tied for 31st (+1, 214) along with teammate Hidetoshi Yoshihara. The sophomore shot a 1-over 72 on Tuesday, making a birdie on the 14th and two bogeys.
Junior Patrick Murphy recorded an even-par 71 in round three, birdieing the 10th, 17th and first holes to go with three bogeys. He is tied for 38th (+3, 216). Freshman Eddy Lai is tied for 52nd (+5, 218), posting a 2-over 73. He made birdie on his first (#10) and last (#9) holes, adding four bogeys. Senior Tyler Collier is tied for 64th (+8, 221). He made one birdie on the fourth, three bogeys and a double for a 4-over 75.
The Bruins will begin their final round of the Championships at 8 a.m. on Wednesday off the 10th tee in the order of Collier, Lai, Murphy, Bling, Yoshihara and Madey. Live scoring will be available here.
