Series History
This is the 76th meeting between UCLA and California, with the Bruins holding a 52-23 lead in the series. UCLA has the overall lead in games in Berkeley, 18-15, but the Golden Bears have won nine of the last 13 at home. Last season, the Bruins, ranked 11th at the time, blew out then-ranked No. 20 California by a final score of 82-46. The victory, which snapped a six-game losing streak at Haas Pavilion, eclipsed UCLA's largest-ever at California, a 32-point win (86-54) on Feb. 14, 1998. Monique Billings notched a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds, while Jordin Canada had 16 points and nine assists for UCLA. Kennedy Burke added 10 points, five assists and four steals.

UCLA's Last Time Out
UCLA improved to 8-1 against USC in the last nine meetings with a 72-65 triumph over the Women of Troy on Dec. 30. Both sophomore Michaela Onyenwere (27 points, 12 rebounds) and senior Lajahna Drummer (10 points, 14 rebounds) posted double-doubles, as UCLA came from 13 down to muster its largest comeback of the season.

The Bruins shot 57.9 percent (11-for-19) in the third quarter to outscore USC 31-10 and erase an 11-point halftime deficit. USC cut UCLA's lead to seven (63-56) in the fourth quarter before the Bruins responded with a 9-4 run to push it to double digits (72-60) and put the Women of Troy away.

Onyenwere's Double-Doubles
Michaela Onyenwere is enjoying a stellar sophomore campaign thus far, having posted four double-doubles in 2018-19, including a 27-point, 12-rebound effort at USC to open Pac-12 play.
