LOS ANGELES - Sophomores Aaliyah Jordan, Briana Perez and Malia Quarles combined to drive in nine of the Bruins' 10 runs on Sunday, while sophomore Holly Azevedo struck out three in her second-straight, complete-game shutout, as No. 2 UCLA finished off a sweep of Utah with a 10-0 victory at Easton Stadium.

UCLA (43-2, 17-1 Pac-12) had 11 hits from six different players, as Jordan and Perez both had three-hit contests and Quarles added a two-hit game.

Azevedo limited Utah (15-32, 4-14 Pac-12) to just four hits to improve to 10-0 on the season.

The Bruins scored in four of their five trips to the plate. In the first, UCLA loaded the bases on a walk to junior Bubba Nickles, a bunt single by Perez and a free pass to redshirt junior Rachel Garcia. Jordan followed with a single through the right side to bring in Nickles and Perez with the game's first runs. After freshman Colleen Sullivan walked to again load the bases, Quarles singled up the middle to plate Garcia and Jordan to make it 4-0.

In the second, Nickles again led off, this time with a single, moved to second on a passed ball and scored two outs later on a single to right by Jordan to up the lead to 5-0. One Sullivan walk later, Quarles singled to right to score Jordan to get the advantage to 6-0.

In the third, sophomore Kinsley Washington walked to open the frame, stole second and moved to third on a grounder by freshman Kelli Godin. Nickles then walked and stole second, and when the throw down was dropped at second base, Washington scampered home to make it 7-0.

The Bruins ended things in the fifth on one swing of the bat. With one out, Washington and Godin each singled, and one out later, Perez belted her fifth homer of the season into the trees in right field to finish off the 10-0 victory.

UCLA is back on the road next weekend, taking on Stanford, with the series opening on Friday, May 3 at 5 p.m. The game will be broadcast on Pac-12 Networks.
