Tavatanakit Leads Field of Seven Bruins at LPGA's First Major of 2019

RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. - Sophomore Patty Tavatanakit, along with six Bruin alums, will be at Mission Hills Country Club this weekend for the first major of the 2019 LPGA season, the ANA Inspiration. Also teeing it up in the desert will be Bronte Law, Alison Lee, Mo Martin, Ryann O'Toole, Jane Park and Mariajo Uribe.
Tavatanakit will be playing in her fifth LPGA major over the last three seasons. She was the low amateur at the 2018 U.S. Women's Open, and was one of just nine players to finish under par (-2, 286). Tavatanakit also played in the 2017 ANA Inspiration, the 2017 U.S. Women's Open and the 2017 Evian Championship.
