
Bruins Travel to Arizona for Wyoming Cowboy Classic

CHANDLER, Ariz. - The Bruins will spend a week in Arizona for a pair of tournaments, starting on Monday with the Wyoming Cowboy Classic at the Whirlwind Golf Club. The 54-hole tournament will be played over two days at the par-72, 7,218-yard layout.
The starting five for the Bruins will be seniors Cole Madey and Patrick Murphy, junior Hidetoshi Yoshihara, sophomore Eddy Lai and freshman Sean Maruyama. Senior Jack Ireland will be playing as an individual. The first of two rounds on Monday will begin at 7:30 a.m. with a shotgun start, as Maruyama and Yoshihara start on the first, Madey on the second and Murphy and Lai on the third. Tuesday's final round will be another shotgun start at 7:30 a.m.
Joining the Bruins in the 20-team field are Boise State, Cal State Fullerton, CSUN, Gonzaga, Grand Canyon, Northern Colorado, Old Dominion, Santa Clara, Southern Utah, Stephen F. Austin, UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara, UT Arlington, UT Rio Grande Valley, Utah State, Utah Valley, Weber State, Wichita State and Wyoming.
