PERTHSHIRE, Scotland - Bruin alum Bronte Law is ready for her first Solheim Cup, which gets underway on Friday at the Gleneagles Hotel, PGA Centenary Course.
Law will get an early chance to get points for Team Europe, pairing up with Carlota Ciganda in the first match of foursomes on Friday (8:10 a.m. Scotland Time/12:10 a.m. Pacific Time). Golf Channel coverage begins at 12 a.m. PT on Friday and Saturday and 3:30 a.m. PT on Sunday.
The Solheim Cup is played over three days, with eight matches of foursomes and four-balls on each of the first two days. The final day consists of 12 singles matches. Team Europe will look to snap a two-Cup losing streak in the biennial event.
Law, who won her first LPGA Tournament this May at the Pure Silk Championship, was a captain's pick for her first Solheim Cup. She has a wealth of experience on the international stage, having represented Team England at the 2018 UL International Crown, as well as participating in the Curtis Cup and the Junior Ryder Cup.
