Bruins Hold Final Non-Conference Game against Fresno State Tuesday

LOS ANGELES – No. 11 UCLA (11-1, 1-0) is set to host Fresno State (7-5, 0-0) on Tuesday, Dec. 20, for the Bruins' final non-conference game of the 2022-23 season. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. PST inside Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom.
 
Tuesday's matchup will be UCLA women's basketball's Holiday Game: the first 750 fans in attendance will receive a UCLA ugly sweater holiday ornament upon entering Pauley. Fans can use the promo code "WBBHoliday" for discounted tickets online.

KEY NOTES ON THE BRUINS
 
• UCLA has made 164 free throws through 12 games (4th - Pac-12), shooting 74.5% on the year (2nd - Pac-12, 164-220 FT). The Bruins rank 1st in offensive rebounds per game in the Pac-12 (16.9 ORPG, 11th - NCAA). UCLA is 2nd in the Pac-12, 15th in the nation in total rebounding (45.2 RPG).
• The Bruins, averaging 8.8 steals per game, have swiped at least seven steals in each of their 11 victories this season. UCLA had a season-high 14 steals in Saturday's win over Bakersfield.
• UCLA's 11-1 record is the hottest start to a season since  2019-20 when the Bruins won 16-consecutive games to begin the season. Thursday's win over USC also marks the first conference-opening win for the team since 2019-20.
Charisma Osborne has scored a 219 points (3rd - Pac-12, 22nd - NCAA) through 12 games, averaging 18.3 ppg (4th - Pac-12, 45th - NCAA). She has the second-most field goals made (77 FGM) on the second-most field goal attempts (179 FGA) in the Pac-12. Osborne ranks 2nd in minutes played (386 MIN), 4th in FT% (83.0%) and 5th in FTM (44).  Osborne is tied for 5th in defensive rebounds (63 DRPG) in the Conference. She also ranks T-9th in total rebounds (81 REB) and 13th in rebounds per game (6.8 RPG) in the Pac-12.
Kiki Rice has started all 12 games of her first collegiate season, averaging 29.6 minutes per game. The freshman floor general ranks second on the team in assists (35 AST), which is the second most among freshmen in the Pac-12. Rice has totaled 146 points on the season, the most of any first-year player in the Pac-12 (12th among all Pac-12 players).
 
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL SCHEDULE
 
The UCLA women's basketball team is scheduled to play a 30-game regular-season campaign. The Bruins will host 16 home games throughout the season, play 11 games on the road, and participate in three contests at a neutral site (the team played in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in The Bahamas in mid-November).
