Bruins Head to Oregon for Top 20 Showdown Friday

LOS ANGELES – No. 10 UCLA (12-1, 1-0) will travel to Eugene, Ore., to face off against the No. 17 Ducks (10-2, 1-0) on Friday. The 6 p.m. PST game will kick off the Bruins' full non-conference schedule for the 2022-23 season.

All 10 Bruins who got on the floor scored for UCLA in the victory, and 4 Bruins got into double figures Tuesday. Charisma Osborne led all scorers with 16 points (7-11 FG) and Kiki Rice added 14 points (6-11 FG) to the total. Freshmen Gabriela Jaquez (15 points) and Londynn Jones (10 points) added double-digit performances to the tally off the bench. Jaquez claimed a season-high 4 steals in the victory.

• UCLA has made 172 free throws through 13 games (4th - Pac-12), shooting 75.1% on the year (2nd - Pac-12, 172-229 FT). The Bruins rank 1st in offensive rebounds per game in the Pac-12 (16.9 ORPG, 8th - NCAA). UCLA is 2nd in the Pac-12, 16th in the nation in total rebounding (44.4 RPG).
• The Bruins, averaging 9.0 steals per game, have swiped at least seven steals in each of their 12 victories this season. UCLA had a season-high 14 steals against CSU Bakersfield on Saturday, Dec. 17.
• UCLA's 12-1 record is the hottest start to a season since 2019-20 when the Bruins won 16-consecutive games to begin the season. The Bruins' win over USC on Dec. 15 marked the first conference-opening win for the team since 2019-20.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL SCHEDULE
The UCLA women's basketball team is scheduled to play a 30-game regular-season campaign. The Bruins will host 16 home games throughout the season, play 11 games on the road, and participate in three contests at a neutral site (the team played in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in The Bahamas in mid-November).
