Spitz Named to Pac-12 All-Conference Team

SAN FRANCISCO – Junior Emma Spitz was named to the second Pac-12 All-Conference Team of her career, the league announced Wednesday afternoon. With this honor, Spitz becomes the 17th golfer in program history to be named to multiple Pac-12 All-Conference teams.
Spitz earned her first win of the season at Chambers Bay Invitational on April 11-12. Spitz's three career wins are tied for 10th all-time in program history.
Spitz leads the Bruins with four under-par tournament finishes, 11 under-par rounds and six sub-70 rounds this season.
Spitz has two runner-up finishes under her belt in 2022 at the PING/ASU Invitational and Nanea Pac-12 Preview as well as five other top-20 placings this season.
Spitz, who was named to the ANNIKA Award Spring Season Watch List on March 28, leads UCLA with a 72.1 scoring average and is the only Bruin to have each of her rounds competed in this season count towards the overall team score.
Outside of collegiate-affiliated tournaments, Spitz appeared at the third annual Augusta National Women's Amateur for the third straight year, finishing T-12th at 5-over 221.
